Mindfulness of breathing practices can help to bring you back to the present moment so that you can ground and center yourself and regain access to your clearest thinking and make decisions that support your wellbeing.
When you participate in mindfulness training, you gain skills that you can continue to practice for a lifetime. When you learn to meditate, the practice can help you to reduce stress, decrease anxiety, and support you in coping with loss. If you have meditation anxiety, a mindfulness counselor can support you in working through it so that you can enjoy the benefits of mindfulness meditation.
Creative arts therapy, including mindful writing and mindful photography, can be useful in helping you to process difficult experiences, write for healing, and encourage positive mental and emotional states.
