Renewal of the mind body and soul with meditation can cultivate wellbeing and resilience. Spring inspires new growth, both externally and internally. In North America, many of us are emerging from an exceptionally long and cold winter and are gladly welcoming our spring season.
In our culture, the season comes with an intention to do spring cleaning in our homes—clearing the dust and letting go of unnecessary objects. As you move through this week, take a moment to pay attention to your internal landscape and need for spring cleaning.
Mindful Journaling prompts: What is the state of your mind body and soul? Are there aspects of your being that are rigid, inflexible, bracing against something, or pulling back from something or someone else? Is there something or someone that you need to let go of? Something or someone new that you’d like to open your heart to and embrace?
Try noticing whatever you encounter with non-judgmental awareness and compassion. Inquire within regarding whether there are aspects of your being that are in need of support and guidance right now in order to open to a sense of renewal.
