This one-hour gathering offers a gentle, welcoming space to tend our connection with the Earth. Through guided meditation, reflective writing, and ritual, we practice presence with the living world—making room for our sorrow, beauty, and reverence for the Earth.
Rather than seeking answers or solutions, we come together to listen, to honor loss and aliveness, and to remember our belonging within the living world. This is a space for honesty, care, and quiet connection—with the Earth and with one another.

WRITING AS MEDITATION: Cultivating Awareness, Inner Calm, and Renewal
4-week online workshop- UNC Chapel Hill
Writing as Meditation is a restorative practice for self-discovery and renewal. The workshop offers an introduction to reflective writing as a mindfulness practice that encourages awareness, inner calm, and resilience. Through mindfulness practices and guided writing prompts, participants are encouraged to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with a sense of presence and vitality.
This is not a writing craft workshop, rather one that emphasizes awareness and curiosity, inviting writing as a tool for self-discovery, emotional clarity, and renewed engagement with life through present moment experience. No prior writing or mindfulness experience is required—only a willingness to pause and attend to the present moment.

There is a kind of stillness available to us that lives below the noise of daily life — in the body, in the breath, in the quiet center of the heart.
The Heart of Mindfulness is a 90-minute live online workshop that explores heart-centered practices. Research shows that heart centered mindfulness practices can reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and cultivate positive emotions including love, joy, gratitude, and awe. Through guided meditation and mindful writing, you’ll explore how these practices can become a genuine refuge in your everyday life.
This workshop is for anyone who wants to feel more at home in themselves and the world. Please bring a journal or paper and pens.

MINDFUL WRITING FOR TRANSFORMATION
There are stories inside you that want to be told. Not perfected, simply heard.
Mindful writing is less about craft and more about presence. It’s a practice of slowing down, turning inward, and allowing whatever wants to be expressed to move through you and onto the page. No forcing anything. No inner critic in charge.
In this four-week workshop, we create the conditions for stories to arrive naturally — through mindfulness practices and gentle, guided writing activities designed to quiet the mind and open the heart. When we stop trying to write and simply listen, something shifts. Words come. Truth surfaces. The page becomes a place of refuge and revelation where we bear witness to our own stories with kindness and acceptance.
Writing in this way has a remarkable capacity to bring order to inner chaos, restore a sense of wholeness, and reconnect us with our own inner wisdom — the part of us that already knows.
No writing experience is necessary. This is a space for anyone who feels called to listen more deeply to their own story.
