Writing Therapy
Writing therapy is a form of expressive writing that is used for healing and transformation. Writing about difficult events can sometimes feel less overwhelming than talking about them.
Writing therapy can help to make order from what feels like inner chaos. Writing as therapy about loss, stress, and trauma can support your healing process. Written therapy can help you to process difficult events that may be too painful to talk about, or events that you’re not quite sure how to talk about.

Writing therapy practices allow us to see our experience from a new perspective. Perspective taking can help us to relate with past experiences from a more mindful and objective stance and can be healing.
Written therapy allows us to see ourselves and our lives from a more objective perspective and can help us to see our strengths more clearly. It can help us to relate with ourselves with kindness and self-compassion.
You don’t have to be a writer or have writing experience to benefit from writing therapy. You will receive structured writing prompts from a writing therapist to support you in the process.

Writing for Wellness Coaching
Writing for wellness coaching may be helpful if you have concerns that you would like to write about but don’t necessarily have mental health concerns that require therapy.
Writing for wellness coaching offers a supportive experience in writing for healing and transformation. It can facilitate increased self-awareness, shift your perspective, and transform difficult experiences into meaning and purpose.
As we manipulate the words on the page, as we articulate to ourselves and to others the emotional truth of our pasts, we become agents for our own healing.

You don’t have to be a writer or have writing experience to participate in writing for wellness coaching. The process is similar to journaling except that you’re writing in a particular way in response to prompts.
