Opening Your Heart

Opening your heart to the beauty that surrounds you on this Earth can support healing for the body, heart, and mind. Morning birdsong is an abiding occurrence, a daily reminder of the flowing nature of this life pulsing through the body. Like the coming and going of breath, birdsong rises and falls, both within a moment and on a larger scale within the passing of hours in a day.

Birds live in the present moment, following instinct to seek food, avoid predators, and migrate during weather changes in order to survive. Open your eyes to the world of birds. Offer your neighborhood birds a backyard feeder and a house. Allow their morning song to be a daily meditation on sound. Witness your experience of bird watching as a daily practice of opening your heart.
