Practicing gratitude is an everyday practice. Each day, we can practice gratitude and give thanks for the blessing of the harvest. Wee in the Everyday Mindful community spend time clarifying our intentions so that we might live intentionally and create a mindful life.
We plant the seeds of our intentions, nurture and care for them, watch them grow, and experience the rewards of our efforts as our intentions are realized. Though we understand the importance of practicing gratitude on an ongoing basis, Thanksgiving can be a time of formal pause to express gratitude for our personal and spiritual growth and the progress that we have made toward realizing our intentions.
When we focus our attention on gratitude, we cultivate a positive mental and emotional state that supports our wellbeing.
What are you grateful for today?
The single greatest thing you can do to change your life today would be to start being grateful for what you have right now. And the more grateful you are, the more you get. –Oprah
