Go with the flow is a mindfulness attitude that can help us to decrease stress and increase resilience. When we go with the flow, we notice that there are some things we cannot change. We recognize that fighting them increases stress, and practicing acceptance –acknowledging how things are then trying to adapt decreases stress. Life changes from one moment to the next, and though we can’t stop the change, we can experience more peace and ease when we simply learn to stop fighting and start surfing the waves.
If someone walks out of your life, release them, and turn your attention to the people who want to stay. If a project isn’t flowing, find a more suitable collaborator or a project that’s more aligned with your authentic self. Pause. Breathe. Connect with your own internal wisdom. Trust that you are drawing to you the people, circumstances, and places that support exactly what you need at this point in your journey.
