Mindfulness for wellbeing- will you say yes to the call to wellbeing?
All of us are called in some manner to the adventure of caring for our own well-being. The call may come as a nagging feeling of dissatisfaction with our lives, anxiety, depression, physical or emotional symptoms of stress, physical imbalance, illness, a close call, or a loss. Those of us who refuse the call are at risk for continuing to repeat the same self-destructive patterns that coincide with running away from the inherent risk and pain of being alive.
When we refuse the call, the call either becomes louder (the symptoms increase) or we settle for an unfulfilled life. Those of us who accept the call as an inspiring opportunity are propelled forward exponentially by the energy that accompanies “Yes” and choose to commit fully to a life of well-being.
We accept responsibility for our own self-care, and we do our best to treat ourselves and others with kindness and compassion. We choose to embrace the risk, anxiety, fear, and uncertainty involved with answering a call, and we reap the rewards of being mindfully present to our lives as we embrace well-being and living our purpose and potential. How can you embrace the call to wellbeing as an inspiring opportunity? What step can you take today to say, “Yes” to the call to your own well-being and to living your purpose and potential?

Thoughtful article Jen. Yes, best to answer the Call of your body before it has to heighten the “ring tone”. See you at Wellness U. Cheers. Lynda (Fb/@LovingMecomau)
