When you believe in yourself, anything can feel possible. Many of us struggle with something about ourselves that we want to change but have trouble changing. Creating mindful change is tricky and requires a balance between accepting ourselves exactly as we are and creating clear intentions about who we want to be. Applying our mindfulness practice and accepting ourselves as we are doesn’t exclude setting intentions and goals for personal growth and change.
Personal growth requires believing in our capacity to change, creating a focused action plan, accepting that commitment is followed by imperfect action, treating ourselves with compassion when we fall short of our intentions, and getting right back on track. If we keep trying to change and repeatedly back to our same old habits, often there’s likely a negative belief that’s getting in our way or we have ambivalence about doing what is required to achieve our desired results. Who do you want to be in the world? What is keeping you from believing in your capacity to change?
Try to believe in yourself. Change begins with this belief.

Dear Jen,
I love the way your work is unfolding as it is here abundantly and in your life. Mindful. Intentional.
Often your messages are exactly a perspective with which and from which I have benefited and benefit.
Thank you for sharing yourself and your work.
Warm regards,
John
