Own Your Voice for More Personal Power

Own your voice for more personal power. When you own your voice, you become willing to speak up on your own behalf. You find the freedom to trust your inner wisdom and follow its guidance instead of abandoning yourself. Speaking up for yourself is an act of mindful self-care.

When we own our voice, we speak up and take action in the interest of our own and others’ well-being. We don’t allow our fear of others’ judgment, hostility, or rejection to silence us. We claim our uniqueness and recognize that it is what makes us beautiful.

When we own our voice, we come to believe that what we say matters. We speak up for ourselves and stand up for our lives. What can you say or do today to own your voice and speak up or take action on your on behalf or on the behalf of a voiceless other? Owning your voice can help you to be more at peace, happy, and resilient.

For far too long we have been seduced into walking a path that did not lead us to ourselves. For far too long we have said yes when we wanted to say no. And for far too long we have said no when we desperately wanted to say yes.–Terry Tempest Williams
