Being Authentic with Mindfulness Practice

Being authentic means wholeheartedly embracing your true nature and uniqueness. Mindfulness helps us to connect with our most authentic self. In the silence and the stillness, go in and in until you meet the essence of your authentic self. The quirks and the rough edges, the aspects of yourself that make you unique are what make you beautiful. Embrace yourself with acceptance and self-compassion, and celebrate who you are.

We have to dare to be ourselves, however frightening or strange that self may prove to be.  —May Sarton

When you notice your mind judging your own existence as not good enough, too this, or not enough that, pause, breathe, and approach yourself with acceptance and self-compassion. Who you are is good enough. Who you are is beautiful. Be wholeheartedly you. The world is waiting for your voice.
